(T-TEN) Degree Program

Students graduate from the T-TEN program with the confidence, skills, knowledge, and certifications needed to begin a challenging and profitable career.

After completion, students will receive a two-year Associate degree combining auto technology instruction with general education courses.

T‑TEN technicians typically start at about $30,000+ a year. In some markets, Toyota or Lexus technicians who attain Master status can earn $85,000 a year, and some even earn more than $100,000 a year.

Toyota T-TEN Apprenticeship Program

If you are a high school student living in North Carolina, you could start this program tuition-free!

Forsyth Tech's T-TEN program was approved by ApprenticeshipNC in January 2021 as a registered apprenticeship program. Through this partnership, students who are completing T-TEN training courses at Forsyth Tech and also working in a partner dealership to learn on the job are eligible to register as an apprentice. Apprentices will earn wage increases as they progress through the on-the-job training and will earn an AAS in Automotive Systems Technology – T-TEN from Forsyth Tech in addition to a national and state Journeyworker card and industry certifications.
